Two big games take our focus today, with both taking place in the European half of the FACEIT League 2015 – Stage 3.
18:00 GMT: TSM vs EnVyUs
In the last week TSM moved up to become the number one ranked team in the world. They are insanely dominant online. After Karrigan stepped up into the in-game leader role, the team have really settled down and have been winning 90% of games they’ve played since the ESL Dubai event.
TSM is currently a top of the ladder and are way ahead of the chasing pack. This isn’t a must win game, but considering how well TSM have been playing recently the odds favour TSM. They’re available at 8/11 with William Hill.
EnVy needs this win more than TSM does. Recently their Mirage setup has been really strong with their double or sometimes triple scope formations. The issue arises that the major is next week. EnVy are currently boot camping for the major but neither team will want to give away too many new tactics. Although, we must consider how well EnVy have played recently. They’ve just been going ham on teams. Couple how well they’ve been playing with their confidence and the fact they’re bootcamping at the moment, we can see EnVy taking this one.
The last five times TSM and EnVyUs have met has resulted in 2 wins for TSM and 3 wins for EnVyUs.
Recommended Bet:
EnVyUs to win – evens (2.00) with William Hill.
19:00 GMT: Kinguin vs Hellraisers
This is one of the most interesting games of the night in terms of betting. Cache is a strong map for both teams. We all saw how Hellraisers came back from such a huge deficit vs Fnatic as well as almost beating TSM on it. Combine that with the fact Hellrasiers have won their last 6 Cache games and you can make a compelling case for them taking this game.
Kinguin hasn’t played much Cache recently, but when they last played Hellraisers on Cache a month or so ago they beat them in overtime. Also, lest we forget the 16-0 vs Virtus Pro, which also came on Cache…
Both of these teams will be fighting for 5th place, which qualifies them to the LAN finals, so this is going to be incredibly close. A win is crucial for both sides. Some would say it’s a 50/50 game although we think it is more in favour of Hellraisers due to their excellent recent form on this map, although we’d tread carefully due to how closely matched these teams are.
Recommended Bet:
Hellraisers to win – 4/5 (1.80) with Unikrn
