After we tipped up EnVy to win the major at a generous 3/1 it’s time for us to win ourselves a bit more Christmas spending money with tonight’s two games.
Na’Vi vs Mousesports
I’d be the first to admit, that I thought NiP were going to beat Na’Vi in their major semi final. NiP had played out of their skins the previous day and really did roll back the years. It wasn’t to be as Na’Vi absolutely schooled them, which put them into the final. Guardian was on point and we all know, give that man an AWP and he will deliver.
There were points in the final where Na’Vi looked to be on a bit of a roll too. They looked in a strong position to take the first map when they were 13-9 up with EnVy on a force buy, but then the capitulation happen. Regardless of this, Na’Vi surprised many getting to the final but the field was decimated by the likes of NiP taking out TSM and G2 taking down Fnatic.
Mouz, who are in fact sponsored by betting site Unikrn, on the other hand lost their group game vs G2 and then unfortunately had to play them again after they knocked Fnatic out. Niko finally showed his potential by stepping up big to take a map from G2 but ultimately they fell short of what was required.
We fancy Na’Vi to take this match given the fact they’ve beaten them 4 out of the last 5 times they’ve met and they come into the game in good form.

Titan v Luminosity
An interesting tie which is reflected in the betting. With Paddy Power Titan are priced at 6/4 whilst Luminosity are the 4/9 favourites, despite Titan having a 56% win percentage on CS:GO Lounge!
Titan looked strong at Dreamhack Cluj taking their bo1 match versus NiP so easily. After a strong CT half on Cobble they then just force bought until they won the game, which meant the 16-13 scoreline looked like the match was close: it really wasn’t. They then met Virtus Pro and understandably lost. A Titan against NiP rematch was on the cards and every analyst tipped up Titan to beat NiP. They didn’t and it was fairly straight forward for the Swedes, particularly on Dust 2 where they annihilated the French side.
That was that for Titan.
Luminosity, the kings of Bo1 upsets, dispatched Fnatic in the groups in what was a clinical display of CS wizardry. They would ultimately fall to Na’Vi in the playoffs but they still showed a real togetherness.
The issue here is they’re renowned for their Bo1 upsets, having previously beaten other top teams at previous majors only to falter afterwards. They’ve got to take this game with open arms and put 110% effort in to win on American soil.
We fancy Titan to take this one. They may not win as often as they should at these sorts of events but they often take teams all the way in BO3s and can hold their own when required. On paper this is a coin toss and it wouldn’t surprise us if this ended 16-14, 14-16, 16-14 in Titan’s favour.
